Our stories take place in the [[Republic of Enemies]], best described as a dark fantasy world with aesthetics inspired by the 16th and 17th century of our own world, but without concern for historical accuracy. This is a world that is full of terrifying and tragic things, but nestled among the darkness are glimmers of hope and beauty.

At any given time, the group focuses on developing one or two [[Chapter]]s. While a Chapter is ongoing, it receives the bulk of role playing and worldbuilding. It is completely okay to role play and worldbuild ''outside'' the current Chapter, too.
 
The group can vote to end a Chapter once they feel it has reached a natural conclusion.
