| Books of Hubris is a collaborative dark fantasy storytelling and worldbuilding project. We use multiple mediums for storytelling, including play-by-post role playing, tabletop-style role playing, prose and poetry, invented historical documents, digital art, and more.

| Our stories take place in the [[Republic of Enemies]], a dark fantasy world with aesthetics inspired by the 16th and 17th century. This is a world that is full of terrifying and tragic things, but nestled among the darkness are glimmers of hope and beauty.

| At any given time, the group focuses on developing one or two ongoing [[Chapter]]s. Ongoing chapters are the current focus of worldbuilding and role playing. The group can vote to end a chapter once they feel it has reached a natural conclusion.
